At MakaziPro, we value your privacy and provide a straightforward way for you to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data.

How to Delete Your Account

You can initiate the account deletion process directly through our mobile application or web platform:

Log In

Sign in to your account through the MakaziPro app or website.

Go to Profile

Navigate to the profile settings section of your dashboard.

Request Deletion

Select the "Delete Account" option and follow the confirmation prompts.

Alternative Deletion Method

If you are unable to access your account, you can request deletion by contacting our support team directly via email or phone:

Data Retention and Deletion

What data will be deleted?

Upon successful deletion of your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our active systems:

  • Personal profile information (name, email, phone)
  • Account credentials and login information
  • In-app communication history and preferences
  • Custom app settings and preferences

What data may be retained?

For legal, financial, and regulatory compliance, we may retain certain information even after account deletion:

  • Financial transaction records and payment history (Required for tax and audit purposes)
  • Signed rental agreements and legal contracts
  • Security audit logs and system interaction records

Retention Period

Standard personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of the request. Financial and legal records are retained for a period of up to 7 years as required by Tanzanian law.
